Vedas and hindu mythology online pujas- need of the hour…!!

Hindu Vedas and Mythology has always been interesting. Each of Hindu custom and season is connected with a celebration. Be it birth of a child, the first crop of the season or the holy month of shravan. Each and every month of hindu calendar marks a festival or ritual to celebrate.

 With the start of shravan month starts the time for festivities and rituals. The celebration lasts till tulsi Vivaaha which ends the festivities for the year. Today with the corporate working culture or with families becoming nuclear it has been seen that the rituals have taken a back seat. People celebrate the customs and traditions at office as it gets difficult to manage the time and day at home. Last year the pandemic showed us a totally different world. Everything was at standstill.

Today there is a need to have the convenience of booking and performing the puja and rituals as per our schedule.  Shilpa Joshi a working mother of 2 says ‘I love our tradition & Culture, the little rituals not only keeps me grounded to the cultural roots but also gives me a sense of relaxation’ but with my working and home management it becomes difficult for me to perform everything in details. I would love it if I can manage the rituals at my own space and time.

Rahul Vaidy a stock trader says ‘ my working hours are very weird I need to be on my toes from 8am in the morning  to sometimes 8pm’ so I miss major of my pujas at home, I need someone to guide me with pujavidhis at my convenient  time.

With hindu roots most of us are devoted spiritually and like to perform traditions at home. But with changing times we need to adapt and grow. Today we need a online platform so we can perform online puja with our loved ones in our timeframe. so can online puja be the next working trend?
